Chinese Solar Demand Soars
Shares of Chinese solar stocks LDK Solar Co. Ltd. (NYSE: LDK) edged up 14 cents to close at $1.97, Trina Solar Ltd. (NYSE: TSL) gained 44 cents to close at $5.46 and Yingli Green Energy Holding Co. Ltd. (NYSE: YGE) rose 27 cents to close at $2.97 on news that Chinese demand for photovoltaic modules soared in the fourth quarter to one third of the global market.
