VeriFone Disappoints
VeriFone Systems Inc. (NYSE: PAY) disappointed with sharply lower fourth quarter earnings of 24 cents per share compared with $1.84 per share in the year ago period and forecast current quarter results below expectations sending the stock price plummeting $3.63 to close at $29.60.
